All written records and massage sessions are kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with any outside establishment, individuals, organizations or medical facilities without explicit written consent from the client (you) or the client's legal guardian unless legally required by local, state, or federal subpoena, summons, or other court order.
The massage you receive from the therapist at Back-N-Touch is therapeutic and is for the purpose of stress reduction and /or relief from muscular tension or spasm. At the time of your session, you will be draped (covered) at all times and only the body segment that is being worked on will be undraped. It is of vital importance to us that your privacy be honored and that you feel comfortable, safe and secure at all times.
The massage therapist does not diagnose illness, disease, or any further physical or mental disorders. As such, the massage therapist does not prescribe medical treatment or pharmaceuticals, nor do they perform spinal manipulations. Massages performed at Back-N-Touch are not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnoses and is recommended taht yo see a physician for any physical ailments that you may have.
Any complaints against Back-N-Touch or the employees thereof can be directed to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Complaints Management and Investigative Section P.O. Box 141369, Austin, Texas 78714-1369 or call 1-800-942-5540.
When scheduling appointments, you must realize that the time of your therapist as well as other clients is as valuable as your time. BE ON TIME! If you arrive later than 15 minutes from your scheduled session, the therapist is under no obligation to hold your scheduled session. If you should arrive late, be aware that the session will still end at the original scheduled time and you will be billed the price of the full session. If you are unable to keep the appointment, call 512-966-0636 to reschedule within 12 hours of your appointment time or a fee of 1/2 the session price will be charged.
